    The annual festival at Milton Country Park has inlcuded one Greenstage for the past 5 years but this year they asked us to run a whole music arena with three Strummers Greenstages and over 20 bands and artists. This will now be part of our annual calendar.

    Realife partners up every year with Rebel Arts to run the Eastern Bloc Arts Area at Strawberry Fair, one of the biggest free festivals in the UK.     If you are interested in meeting like-minded people who understand that it's not what you know but WHO you know that makes life interesting this event is for you. We have brought together people and projects from all over the UK but especially from our own community in and around Cambridge that demonstrate all sorts of magical things you can achieve if you connect up with the right people at the right time in the right place. You can hear short presentations, talk to people; pick up leaflets; get new ideas; share your thoughts; dance to the 'Outsiders' and the 'Six Pack DJ's' and make new friends to help each other to get more out of life. It's also completely free thanks to support from the Building Better Communities Fund and our partnership with the Creating Communities project Highlights include: The Outsiders: Six piece band of musicians with and without a learning disability all the way from Halifax Six Pack DJ's: Two sets from Cambridge based DJ social enterprise The I' am Sam Project: Mark Brookes from Dimensions national anti-hate crime project tells us about this important initiative. The Funky Flamingo Club: Hear the story of the Funky Flamingo club from Amy and Nicky The UK Pie Party: Nicky Vere-Compton and the team fighting cancer with 'pie in the face' humour Libra Theatre: Libby, Jenny and the members present Friends their new play exploring friendship with a sideways look at a certain famous TV programme of the same name...     It's the annual Parklife Festival at beautiful Milton Country Park - the yearly showcase of all things wonderful to do woth live music, sports, arts, environment and having lots of fun.
